Michelle Mayrer, MA, CAGS
Ms. Michelle Mayrer currently serves as Family Engagement School Psychologist for the district’s Belleville Beginners Preschool Program. In 2015, she began her educational career as a Behavioral Skills Therapist in an out-of-district school serving students with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities. In this role, she provided clinical instruction and utilized behavior reduction protocols based upon the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis. She also provided parent training to promote the generalization of skills at home.
She later worked as a clinical evaluator at Montclair State University’s Center for Psychological Services, administering cognitive and academic assessments as well as developing educational interventions and accommodations for students of all ages.
Ms. Mayrer holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Caldwell University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She earned her Master’s degree and Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Child/Adolescent Development and a Certification in School Psychology from Montclair State University.
