The Hornblower Early Childhood Center is designed specifically for preschool-aged students (3 years old and 4 years old). Each of our 21 classrooms contain our Belleville Beginner's PreK program as part of our district's preschool expansion initiative. Our goal is to provide high-quality preschool education to the greatest percentage of Belleville's preschool universe.  In 2023, Hornblower was awarded a 4 star rating by NJ Grow Kids. Additionally, in 2024, Hornblower was recognized by NJ Preschool Inclusive Education (NJPIEP) as a Demonstration Site for the Preschool Inclusive Education Project.
